2021- Community Gumbo Dinner

Description

Our 2nd Annual End of Summer Gumbo Dinner will bring the community together to celebrate the hard work that makes Estes Park a great place to live, work and play. This year we are making this bigger and more family friendly. Hosted at The American Legion Post 119, we have a huge lawn where we will have a bounce house for kids and a dunk tank! We are taking nominations for the dunk tank here (i.e. Town Administrator, Town Attorney, Paid Parking, the Mayor, etc.)

Carl's authentic Cajun gumbo was such a hit last year that people were calling asking to buy the leftovers, so we're raising our game this year. We will also have a vegetarian option provided by the Ridgeline Hotel and a fantastic dessert (do I hear pie?).

Bring your family (new +1 price for kids at $5), your appetite and your sense of humor. We will be handing out awards like

• most patient customer service award
• shoveled the most you know what award
• greatest response to "When do the deer become elk?" questions
